Frequently asked questions
How much does prize crane hire cost?
Prize crane hire starts from £500 +VAT for a single day, with cheaper per-day rates for multi-day and weekly hires. Branding is priced on top depending on the wrap you choose. We quote everything as one figure including delivery once we know your event details.
Can you fully brand the prize crane with our logo?
Yes, and most of our bookings are branded. The machine arrives in a white base ready for wrapping. Our print team applies your artwork before delivery so it turns up event-ready. You can wrap the front and sides, or the whole cabinet including the internal back panel.
What prizes can we put in the machine?
Each machine comes with 100 clear 95mm capsules which hold most small items: branded keyrings, USB sticks, pin badges, sweets, vouchers or small plush toys. If you’re not sure whether something will fit, send us a photo and we’ll check.
Do you supply the prizes, or do we?
Either works. Most clients bring their own branded merchandise so the prizes match the wrap, but we can supply plush toys, capsules and generic novelty items if you’d rather we handled it.
Can you control how often people win?
Yes. The machine can be set to win every time, which is great for giveaways, or adjusted to win anywhere from one in two up to one in 100 attempts, which suits higher-value prizes or voucher promotions.
What’s the difference between a prize crane and a claw machine?
They’re the same thing. The mechanism is a claw on a moveable crane used to grab prizes. Arcades tend to say claw machine, the events industry tends to say prize crane or arcade grabber. Ours is all three.
Do you deliver outside London?
Yes, we deliver UK-wide from our base just outside London. Delivery is quoted by distance and venue access. Send us your postcode and event date for an accurate figure.
Is the machine insured and safety tested?
Yes. We hold £5m public liability cover and every machine is PAT tested. We can send certificates to your venue or event organiser on request, which most exhibition organisers ask to see before approving a stand.
